Washington, Mar 13 (ANI): Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon is desperate to shed her fragile image by acting in action flicks.
The ‘Man In The Moon’ actress has revealed that lending her voice to 3D animation flick Monsters Vs Aliens made her inclined towards signing more explosive projects.
“It might be fun, it (the film) actually has gotten me excited.
I have never been in an action film before so the last third of this movie is so action-packed, it made me very excited. I think maybe I could do that,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
Meanwhile, Witherspoon was also in news for revealing that her flick “Monsters vs Aliens” brought out her 5-year-old son Deacon”s violent tendencies. (ANI)

London, Feb 23 (ANI): California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has said that there’s no place for drugs in sports these days.
Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union programme, the former action film star said that top athletes are role models for young people and those trying to stay fit, reports the Daily Express.
Schwarzenegger has admitted that competition leads athletes to use drugs, but suggests that they should, “Come out, be clean and say, ‘Look, I used that, I made a mistake’.”
Schwarzenegger added that not using drugs or alcohol should always be a part of the message aimed at kids involved sports.
The star has admitted using steroids in his bodybuilding days, long before they became illegal without a prescription. (ANI)

New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): Reese Witherspoon has admitted that she’s keen to star in an action film.
The 32-year-old actress says that would love to follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie and become an action hero, reports the China Daily.
Witherspoon also said that she doesn’t mind working out to get the right physique for the part.
“I would like to do an action movie. I love to watch Angelina Jolie in movies like ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’,” she said.
“I think movies where women have great strength and character are interesting. I’m dying to do one,” she added.
The Oscar-winning actress recently revealed that her nine-year-old daughter Ava gets embarrassed by her mother’s singing.
“I love to sing around the house and in the car, but my daughter hates it. She said, ‘Mom I really appreciate you taking me to the concert, but will you please not embarrass me in front of Carrie Underwood by singing because she’s a real singer and you’re just, like a movie singer,’ ” she said.
